Bio-Ethanol

The largest part of our bio-ethanol is used to mix it with petrol. The ethanol complies with the official ethanol norm EN 15376. At the filling station one can see on the label at the pump and the nozzle how much ethanol can be in the petrol: either up to 5% by volume also known as E5 or up to 10% by volume known as E10.

Our ethanol is also partly sold for other uses like screen-wash or for making sanitizing gels.

ABF produces about 285 million liters of ethanol yearly.
